Clint received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (1972) from the University of Saskatchewan. After that, he worked as a teacher and guidance counselor in Outlook, Uranium City, at The School for the Deaf in Saskatoon and PACI in Prince Albert. From 1979 to 1982, he owned Mawsley Lake Lodge, a fly-in fishing camp located 120 air miles north of La Ronge.
Clint started his career in financial services in 1981. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1991 and his Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) in 1993. In 1987, he became an independent advisor associated with Canada Life. As his business grew, he began adding products and services from other providers.
Clint is a member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, the Rotary Club and the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club.
In his spare time, Clint enjoys golf, curling, cross-country skiing and winter getaways to Palm Springs. He is married to Deb Thierman, a retired teacher and active curler and golfer. They have two sons, one daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
